It is a hard read, no lie. I just wanted to shake Dean and say, hey, you're missing all the signs, focusing on yourself so much, and I notice I want to make excuses for him now, with things about his own youth and how his view of Sam has been warped, too. But Sam's the one whose feelings were manipulated pretty tragically, who has been taken advantage of in a way that's probably skewed his viewpoint for life. It remains complicated in the way that so many wrong things can be.
