It is nice to have a thoughtful discussion about noncon vs. dubcon, since almost everybody seems to have different ideas about what constitutes what, and often there are very small details (as you pointed out in this fic, with Sam's eyes) that tip it from one to the other in readers' minds.
Also, I love how there are a million and one ways to write wincest, from the schmoopy to the epic to the creepy, and all of them can be distilled directly from canon in their own ways. Isn't this fandom fantastic?
I definitely am with you that Dean would probably have an easier time disregarding the incest taboo than most people. In fact, I think Sam would be far more likely to see that as a stumbling block, and Dean to just see it as trivial nonsense.
But then, I think Sam, once he committed to such a relationship, would be more likely to go whole hog 'til death do us part' 'forsaking all others,' while Dean would be more likely to want to leave outs for Sammy, in case he changed his mind, and not get too serious too fast.
Canon Dean would definitely feel responsible for whether the relationship fucked Sammy up or not, so I'm with you that what I just wrote is not the Dean we know and love. But I do think Dean has a different approach to sex than Sam, and I find it plausible that he might fuck Sammy up accidentally in a teencest relationship, believing that sex is harmless if both people have fun, and not understanding that Sam might place more weight on it from the get-go than Dean, and maybe then getting scared and backing off when he realized Sam was on a different wavelength about it. I would read the hell out of a fic like that.
Anyway, I'll stop my rambling now, and just end by saying it's been really nice, pondering the different ideas you've brought up here.
